The planning process for the Easton Presbyterian Church took over two years. The entire congregation was invited to take part in the planning through a series of after service Sunday meetings. A Master Plan was developed which envisioned a future new sacntuary. At that time the existing sanctuary would become much needed multi-purpose space. Phase 1 of the project included updating all of the existing facilities including bathrooms and enlarging the kitchen. The centerpiece of this phase was a new "Greeting Space." This two story element has a strip skylight at the top which floods the space with natural light. It is a natural gathering place for before and after service socialization.
